SOUTHAMPTON, PA (4/15/09) -- Hart Corporation is pleased to announce our recent participcation as an exhibitor in the AIFS Expo held April 10-12 in Beijing, China. This expo is designed and described in their website – (http://www.sino-usa.org/aifsexpo/index.htm)
“The AIFS Expo is a specialty show sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Sino American Trade Development Association. The purpose of the show was to provide a direct outlet to Chinese investors for investing in US properties, including industrial, residential and commercial. This show was open to qualified Chinese investors and US real estate professionals only”.
The investors attending were educated on the “abc’s” of purchasing property in the U.S. and must be approved by the Chinese government to participate. There were over 4,000 investors including large Chinese developers and business owners. Each of the qualified investors had paid a significant fee to attend the expo. We understand that approximately 25% to 30% of the investors specifically were looking for industrial/commercial property. We made arrangements and met with a number of Chinese manufacturing companies to discuss their location plans in the United States.
We anticipate this proactive move will result in increased interest in our exclusive agencies, and provide a new avenue for identifying buyers and possibly new financing sources in these difficult economic times.
