Air Conditioning
No - The finished office area has electric roof-top package heat pumps providing heating and air conditioning (5 units totaling 37.5 tons). The plant was previously operated with process refrigeration and humidity control. Although not operational, 2 – 700 ton 1982 Trane Centrivac chillers remain onsite along with a Marley cooling tower. 10 – 110,000 cfm Bahnson air washers remain as well.
Sprinklers
Yes - 100% wet system with one dry valve unit. This is an 8” closed loop system that is fed by a 300,000 gallon, onsite, above ground water storage tank with a Cummins 187 hp, 3,300 rpm, 1,500 gpm diesel-fired pump with an electric jockey pump.
